Lauren has been involved in drum corps and marching band since 1979 when she joined Arbella dbc, back when it was an all-girl corps, fresh from it’s 1979 DCI Championship All-Girl win. She has continued to play the trumpet since, and helps teach drill with the Danvers HS Falcon Marching Band. During the day, she owns laurenpoussard-creativestudio downtown Danvers, a photography, web and digital marketing firm, and has three children, her oldest, Zoe, is in the guard.

Joel first marched in drum corps in the ’80s with the Beverly Crusaders, moving on to North Star, then Arbella – when he finally made the leap from baritone to color guard and there was no looking back after that! He has performed with Les Eclipse, The Sky Ryders and has been teaching color guard for the last 20 years at many high schools in the region. By day, Joel works in Financial Services at Wells Fargo and has three children – four, if you count Homer his adorable cockapoo.

Linda brings to Arbella decades of experience in drum corps and color guard – literally too much to list here – and was once an instructor for Arbella back in the 1970s! She brings with her oodles of enthusiasm and passion for The Sport of the Arts – and her famous cookies.

Brian is still an active performer in Salem Blue and brings his flair and finesse in movement to Arbella Independent.  A graduate of Salem High School color guard and recently performed in the Caballeros Drum & Bugle Corps.

[/fusion_content_box][fusion_content_box title=”Stephen Girard” backgroundcolor=”” icon=”” iconflip=”” iconrotate=”” iconspin=”no” iconcolor=”” circlecolor=”” circlebordersize=”” circlebordercolor=”” outercirclebordersize=”” outercirclebordercolor=”” image=”” image_width=”35″ image_height=”35″ link=”” linktext=”” link_target=”” animation_type=”” animation_direction=”left” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_offset=””]

Stephen was a longstanding SAC performer, and contributes positive influence in each guard he performs or instructs.  Stephen balances his time between both BU and Arbella Independent.  We are pleased to have Stephen back on our design team in 2018!

[/fusion_content_box][fusion_content_box title=”Katherine Gallagher” backgroundcolor=”” icon=”” iconflip=”” iconrotate=”” iconspin=”no” iconcolor=”” circlecolor=”” circlebordersize=”” circlebordercolor=”” outercirclebordersize=”” outercirclebordercolor=”” image=”” image_width=”35″ image_height=”35″ link=”” linktext=”” link_target=”” animation_type=”” animation_direction=”left” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_offset=””]

Katherine brings her vast experience as both a performer and instructor performing with various groups such as:  SAC, Blue Devils, and Boston Crusaders.  As part of our technical staff, we look forward to being squeaky clean in 2018!
