An Instructor’s Perspective….by GEORGE D’IORIO 2017-07-07T10:12:16+00:00

We are so very excited to present you with this fantastic series of articles submitted by GEORGE D’IORIO, principal Brass Instructor from 1975 to 1979.  These articles are SURE to transport you through time, back to the days of drum corps here in New England.

Thank you to Arbella Alumni parents Mary Ann and Frank Silva of Gallows Hill Productions for videoing our reunion!

When I read George’s first article, it brought a HUGE smile to my face (and I didn’t even march during the years he writes about).  What impresses me so much is the passion with which he writes, and the dedication and commitment of the members, staff and parents who made everything come together during those early years.

I don’t want to give too much away so READ ON and ENJOY!

Lauren
